Apartment Renovation #03

A small holiday apartment in the heart of the Monti district, a few steps from the Colosseum, is transformed to welcome a family with a child in their Roman stays. An existing sect is transformed into the sculptural element that orders the rooms of the house, supporting a loft that houses the two beds.
The partition wall + loft core becomes a living device, assuming all the requirements of a modern residence based on existenzminimum standards.
